I expected 100% chauvinism from the commentators and yes they did ! … During interviews the french reporter consistently asked the same thing to American stars’ What do you think of the movie La Vie en Rose, have you seen it? ” And stuffs like that … Ehhheem ..
But this time being a chauvinist was good! 10 nominations for France is something, there’s plenty to be proud of ? I am. Finally a score of 3 out of 10 with Best Short Documentary for The Mozart of pickpockets (Philippe Pollet-Villard), and two for La Vie en Rose, Best makeup for Didier Lavergne and Jan Archibald and Best Actress for Marion Cotillard. She was glamourous, her reaction moved me, I was very happy for her .. “There are really angels here …” (she said referring to Los Angeles)
The ceremony was hosted by Jonathan Stewart a popular host of the show The Daily Show. I loved his humor (Long live the multilingual versions on satellite .. because the dubbing VF … I hate it). Some of the most hilarious moments … “Sweeney Todd, No Country for Old Men, There will be BLOOD … my god so many movies psychotic … America needs a hug?”
I also shed tears twice: during the retrospective of 80 years of ceremonies with all the winning films from the thirties until now and 80 years of films with the most memorable films .. This kind of retrospective with Titanic as the background score you know .. : P
Finally I collapsed when they screened those who had left us from February 2007 to 2008 ending with Heath Ledger. It was very moving.
Apart from that the actors were all elegant huh. George Clooney … <3333 Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were there, Renee Zellwegger looked high personally and Nicole Kidman used too much Bottox.
Cate Blanchett was beautfiul as was Daniel Day Lewis – who bagged the best actor award for There will be blood – (gaaah the ear piercing and the so british accent … “indeed thank you very much” .. *faints*!)
Among the other nominees, of course the fabulous Javier Bardem as Best Supporting Actress for No Country for old Men which also won best director and the best moviealso .. Hmm personally I found the movie not so amazing therefore I am not ok with that but i agree with the Best supporting actor. he deserves it for sure! Tilda Swilton bagged the Best Supporting Actress for Michael Clayton – i was surprised – I expected it for Cate Blanchett with the movie I’m not there … But pleasantly surprised!

Ah ça y est enfin revenue de la fac, voici donc mon article sur la 80ème Cérémonie des Oscars Levée à 02h30 du matin très exactement sous une pluie infernale (vive la saison des cyclones à l’île de la Réunion), je me prépare en essayant de faire le moindre bruit possible. Rituel que je pratique depuis plus de 6 ans maintenant, je suis déjà tout excitée à l’idée de m’asseoir sur mon canapé et d’entendre “Welcome to the 80th annual academy awards ceremony”.. kyaaaaaaaaa~~ Point noir, je tremble, la pluie est mon ennemie.. mon Satellite “Pitié marche.. ne saccade pas.. j’ai besoin de toi… Amen !” Chut ! Pas de bruit… mes parents dorment. *click*….(on baisse le volume 15 14 13 12 11 10…) : le Red Carpet a déjà débuté. Oh George Clooney ! Oh… c’est qui elle encore ? (me frotte les yeux et baille.. hhaaaumm.. bon allez ça a commencé.. et là je souris bêtement !) *Kraack*.. *tsskraac*… ——————— (écran noir), la pluie tombe trop fortement et je bouillonne littéralement de l’intérieur… bon, ça n’est pas grave, ce n’est que le tapis rouge, tant pis pour les interviews : du moment que je peux voir la cérémonie…. Je retourne donc dans ma chambre (il est 03h45 du matin) et je décide de checker mes mails et de faire un tour sur mes forums habituels : ooh surprise ils sont tous actifs.. ben oui à cette heure pour eux c’est normal.. c’est plutôt inhabituel pour moi ! XD ___ 04h30 Bon allez retournons voir si ça remarche — la pluie tombe toujours mais moins violemment — ahhh… Bon alors malheureusement, contrairement à Paris Première qui diffuse les Golden Globes logiquement (cette année nada hein… ^^) c’est Canal+ qui se charge des Oscars.. hmm avant c’était bien, il y avait une présentatrice, j’ai oublié son nom, elle présente une émission de jeu Tv sur un France télévisions.. bon enfin il y a Laurent ??? et ??? …. .. Je n’aime pas trop ces présentateurs, laurent ??? qui fait partie de l’équipe du Grand Journal d’ailleurs, yiik je ne supporte pas. Je m’attendais à du chauvinisme à 259856% et ben c’était pire… lors des interviews l’envoyé de C+ n’a cessé de demander la même chose aux stars américaines “What do you think of the movie La Vie en rose, have you seen it ?” et des variantes du même genre… ehhheem… ensuite dans le studio bien sûr on a eu droit au fait qu’eux il faisait du vrai journalisme et pas de pipolisation.. “on a essayé de faire du cinoche” en comparaison à la chaîne ABC citée auparavant…. Bon mais passons, parce que finalement cette fois-ci être chauvins ça faisait du bien ! 10 nominations concernant le cinéma français c’est pas n’importe quoi, il y a de quoi être fière non ? Moi je le suis. Finalement un résultat de 3/10 avec Meilleur Court-métrage Documentaire pour Le Mozart des pickpockets (Philippe Pollet-Villard), et deux pour La Môme et pas des moindres, Meilleur maquillage pour Didier Lavergne et Jan Archibald et Meilleur Actrice pour Marion Cotillard. C’était très émouvant. A part ça les acteurs étaient tous glamours hein, sauf que cette fois il y avait beaucoup plus de vieux comparés à l’année dernière… lool.. mais George Clooney… <3333 Johnny Depp et Vanessa étaient présents, Renée Zellwegger m'avait l'air shooté personnellement et Nicole Kidman avait trop forcé sur la dose de Bottox. Parmi les autres primés, bien sûr le fabuleux Javier Bardem comme meilleur second rôle pour No Country for old Men qui a raflé meilleur réalisateur et film aussi.. hmm personnellement j’ai trouvé le film décousu donc je suis pas très ok avec ces derniers oscars mais pour Meilleur 2nd rôle il le mérite c’est certain ! Tilda Swilton a eu en tant que Meilleure second rôle pour Michael Clayton – suprise moi – je m’attendais à Cate Blanchett pour I’m not there… mais agréablement surprise ! Ehh on a du se re-taper (pour ma part) les chansons de Il était une fois… Voilà, je crois que j’ai fait le tour…
